(Bishop Stortford) area. Company's whose members we represent include
BT, Virgin Media, Telent, O2, Global Marine, Monteray &
Manpower.

MAKE UP OF THE
BRANCH
South East Anglia CWU (Communication Workers Union)
is the result of the
merger of South East
Anglia Engineering & South East Anglia
Clerical branches over 6 years ago. Membership is made up from
members working in telecommunications industry in the Essex area (outside the
M25 area) & South
East Herts (Bishop Stortford). The majority of our members work for BT, although we have a large
and growing membership in other companies such as Monteray, Global Marine,
Telent,
O2 and Virgin Media.
South East Anglia CWU
has a total of
five
officers on either full time or part time capacity. The officers are based at either
the Marks Tey or Brentwood offices. Both Offices are of equal importance. To
give examples, the Marks Tey office is within striking distance of our members
in Colchester and North Essex, where as our Brentwood office means we get out to see
members in Brentwood Workstyle, Southend, Rayleigh, Basildon & Bishops
Stortford.
